The “Dionysian” series evolved from life drawing that went into the studio and developed into the mythological characters of the ancient Greek stories.

Great models became muses, sprouted horns, hair and hooves, and began dancing as satyrs and nymphs. The Great God Pan plays his pipes and the Father of the vine, Dionysos, passes the wine.
