The “Hawaiian Volcanics” series grew from repeated visits to erupting Kilauea, where fire flowed into the sea. The opposite forces of fire and water moving together in opposite colors make some dynamic compositions.

This series was exhibited in the Hawaiian Volcanoes Gallery in the national park.
